8th Grade End of Year Field Trip Information

As our 8th-graders’ experience at MMS comes to a close, we celebrate their time in middle school with a celebratory field trip. On Monday, June 15, 2020, our 8th-graders will have the opportunity to visit Fountain Spring Lake Country Club for a day of fun, excitement and an opportunity to bond with classmates prior to going to high school.

PowerSchool “Unplugged”

As a district, we have placed an emphasis on wellness in our school community. The Challenge Success data have shown that the overemphasis on grades has been identified as a source of stress for our students. As we begin to close out 2019, we would like to reframe the conversation around your child(ren)’s academics, focusing less on the letter grade and average and more on what they have learned, how they have grown and where they want to go.

No Place for Hate Pledge

This year, Millburn Middle School is working toward becoming a No Place for Hate School.  Our newest peer leader group, BRAVE, and the guidance office have been working to create activities, form committees, and take steps to meet the criteria to receive this designation.
