Ashley Lynn Mistak, Ed.S., LPC, School Psychologist
I have proudly served as the school psychologist at MMS for over 10 years and am excited to support our sixth grade students as their case manager for the 2025–2026 school year. I hold an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology and am certified as a school psychologist in New Jersey. In addition to my role at MMS, I maintain a private practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), where I provide psychotherapy to adult clients—an experience that helps me stay current and continuously strengthen my counseling skills.
At MMS, I am an active member of both the Threat Assessment Team and the Mental Wellness Committee. As a school psychologist, my goal is to support the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe that while academic growth is essential, our broader purpose is to help students develop into kind, responsible, and confident individuals who can contribute positively to their community. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels safe, seen, and valued.
