Eating Locations & Service Lines

MMS has three large eating areas equipped with cafeteria tables. Each designated eating area has its own serving line.

  • Main Cafeteria - Full Service with Pomptonian's Full Dining Menu offered

  • Auxiliary Cafeteria - Offers a limited "grab & go" menu

  • Lower Gym - Transforms daily into an auxiliary eating location and offers a "pop-up" serving line. This cafeteria space offers a similar "grab & go" style menu.

Each lunch session will consist of a mix of 6-8 graders. Students can purchase in any location and/or bring their lunch to school.

MMS has designated the following areas for each grade level as their primary lunch location and ask that those students eat their lunch in those locations

  • 6th Grade Lower Gym

  • 7th Grade Auxiliary Cafe/Cafeteria

  • 8th Grade Main Cafeteria

All three locations are located near one another and students will have the ability to move from space to space to access all of the Cafeteria Serving Lines.

MMS also has two outdoor courtyards open for students to eat outside throughout the year, weather permitting.

Pomptonian - Food Service Provider

Pompotian

Pomptonian is the food service provider for Millburn Township Public Schools. Students will have the opportunity to purchase lunch or bring their lunch daily. Families and students can preview the menu using Pomptonian's website. Please see the information below regarding Pay Schools Central and how to set up your account. Also, please review the Allergy Statement Letter to Parents and Why Pre-Order letter provided to us from Pomptonian.

Pay Schools Central

MMS will continue to use Pay Schools Central, a secure online system for parents to set up a lunch account for their children so they can purchase lunch in the cafeteria. For parents that have set up lunch accounts using Pay Schools Central, your child will have the ability pay for lunch using that account. Students will need to know their 5-digit ID number, which can be found at the top of their schedule begins with the letters "LID" or their student ID (which will be provided to them on the first day). It is essential that your child keep their 5-digit ID number confidential and not share it with even the closest friends. This number cannot be changed and will remain with your child throughout their time in the Millburn Township Public School system.

MMS will also be providing students with student IDs that will have a barcode. That ID can also be used to pay for their lunch instead of the 5-digit student ID number. Using the student ID card with the bard code is the preferred payment method when purchasing lunch. Please see this attached flyer for information regarding Pay Schools Central.
