Reading and Writing Strategies is a support class that offers extra practice in reading and writing different genres.
The Applied Language Strategies program aims to assist its students to develop skills in literacy through reading strategies and through the writing process. The goal is for learners to become independent, proficient readers and writers, able to read critically, ask questions, relate information, and write clearly and succinctly.
Math Applications and Problem Solving is a regular education classroom that follows the Common Core Standards with flexibility to differentiate in order to meet the needs of struggling math learners.
Replacement classes are IEP driven, and the depth and breadth of curriculum will vary by subject and student.
